First laptop, charging???

So I just got a laptop. I'm just wondering about plugging it into mains vs. running on battery power. I'll be using it at home for the most part. Is it healthier for the battery to keep it plugged into a socket or is it better to use up the battery before charging it again? Makes no difference to me either way, just want to know what will keep my new laptop happy!

Laptops are designed to be used with both so unless you have to use the battery then leave it connected to mains.
Although every so often let it drain down and recharge it.

It should also work without battery when connected to mains so if you want to extend the battery life, remove it.

Google your type of battery for more suggestions
