steering rack help plz

    Hi I drive a mazda premacy 00. lol i know i am not rich. have had the car for years and just put it trough the N.T.C, it failed cause the steering rack is leaking at the joints or seals. mechanic told me its a big job and would coast more than car is worth. I would be very grateful if any one could advise me on how or if i can get it fixed or how much it might coast to get replaced. plz dont take the piss out of my car or spelling ;)

    Try Traynors up north, got a replacment for my Octavia from an A3, no problems with it, new rack can run upto 800 euros !

    Got mine for 250 from them.

    drive shaft services in dublin will recondition your one and leave it like new. i got mine done and it only cost 140euro
