Tomorrow is an important day in an ex friends life and i know if we were still friends i would be out partaying with them and having fun but i need to find ways to distract myself from even thinking about it but it will not go out of my head. There is going to be people who are going to be pranking me and sending me texts about unapproiote things tomorrow to get a rise of me and i just wish they would not do that if i tell them to F off they will start laughing and keep on doing it. I think 21 years of age is time enogh to not stop pranking people and to grow up a bit. If i go and do something thats what they want.

At least i have work from 7pm to 11.30pm so thats the the night sorted just dont know what to do for the rest of the night/day.

Need a bit of advice on what you would do in my situation. In short an old friend is having a very important night tomorrow night and im going to have other imature people trying to get a rise off me and trying to get this friend into my head along with what might of been in my head.

Started a thread about something simlar before (not that one) and i cant find it anywhere i even checked my stats and didnt see it anywhere. If i could find the thread i would of posted it in there but cant find it sorry for that.

Turn your phone off tomo and leave it off. Take the battery out and hide it if need be, or head out and leave it at home.

Then go do something you enjoy during the day that's distracting - go for a hike/cycle, go for see a couple movies, read, play video games, whatever is your preference.

Start watching an insanely addictive TV show like House or do something similar that'll engross you - before you know it the day will be over

I think you need to take that onboard yourself. If you're not capable of deleting messages unread or ignoring your phone ringing you should do as a previous poster suggested and take out the battery for 24hrs. Your life won't come to a stop because your phone is dead. If they want to get a rise out of you, why give them what they want.

Eh turn off your phone and go and do something else distracting and interesting.

Next day delete any voicemails or texts.

I have a couple of suggestions.

    1. Go to the movies. During the day there is very few people in the cinema so you can spread out and enjoy the show.
    2. Treat yourself to a present. Something that you really want but have been putting off. For me it would be a gadget of some kind.
    3. Do something creative. Paint a picture or do a drawing.
    4. Go bowling. Should be quiet during the day and hurling a ball can get rid of some frustration.
