Does anyone know why there's no Haynes manual for the Renault Kangoo? Popular van, been around 12 years or so....?

Apparently it is being considered by them. I guess in recent years people buy less and less of these manuals.. cars are more reliable and garages are cheaper.??

Maybe in previous years but given the economic climate and number of folks with nowt but time on their hands and fluff in their pockets I woulda thought the opposite..

    Ho hum.

Amazed me recently that they don't do manuals for most Alfa's, think it's only 2 classic ones!

Suppose internet forums along with things like youtube are hurting their sales

I'm afraid Haynes just ain't what they used to be. There is now a large range of user-serviceable vehicles for which no Haynes manual is available. Think Mercedes 123 series (stopped making these in 1985, but still no manual for the petrol version); VW Transporter T4, T5, etc.

The Haynes range is now pathetically small and previous serious volumes have been replaced by the most amateurish book on car stereo installation and even the book on Sex. Trust me on this, I'm as interested in sex as the next red-blooded petrol head, but that is not what Haynes manuals are for.

I suppose it's a typical case of a company being formed and run by a strong-minded individual with no-one to carry on his vision.
