Getting Court records or Judg[e]ments

I hope I have posted in the correct area. I'm not au fait with the legal system apart from jury duty :)

A friend of mine was a victim in a court case last year, and has been trying to get the records / judgements ever since of what happened - she had been told she was not needed in court. Had been dealing with the garda on the case who had informed her that he would get her all of the details and she had to sign for them.

Numerous calls and many months later she still has no information, no official record of what happened in court (2 sessions - as a bench warrant had to be issued for defendant in first session) apart from verbal updates from the garda. After a trip to garda station she was told they couldnt find the records in the system.

If she cannot get the records via the garda - as they had said they would take care of it for her, what is her next step?
