Hey guys, I think this is the right place for my question!

My skin on my nose is really REALLY dry. I moisturise everyday with Clinique dramatically different lotion, which keeps the rest of my face in check, but my nose is always dry! !
When I wear make up it gets really flakey and looks awful. Its only developed over the last few months.

Can anyone recommend a good exfoliator for everyday use?

This problem was plagueing me for years until I stopped using water to wash my face. I use a cold cream cleanser now, Ponds usually (and whatever moisturiser has the prettiest packaging in the shop :p) and it's worked wonders for me :D

Happens to me aswell,I usually find just exfoliting alot around there and a good moisturiser, but sometimes it gets really bad,I just stop wearing make up for a few days untill it clears up.

If it doesnt go away go to your doctor, they gave me this really good cream for dry skin, disappears in a day or two!:p

Have you tried E45? That cream is too oily for me because my skin is oily, but i remember my boyfriend had a freakishly dry skin, and now uses it and has an amazing skin.

This happened to me, I started using a moisturiser for dry skin thinking it would sort me out but when I needed new moisturiser I accidentally bought the wrong one and ended up taking home a moisturiser for oily skin. I've never looked back since, it doesn't make sense - moisturiser for oily skin sorting out my dry skin but it worked for me!

You could also try washing and moisturising your face with silcocks base, toning with witch hazel and rose water ( both of these are available in most Pharmacies for little or nothing) So even better for your pocket :)

I get it too. I normally make sure I exfoliate and moisturise regularly, seems to keep it at bay most of the time.

If you're looking for an exfoliator I recently bought one from Boots, from a range called Sanctuary. It's lovely! :) And the hydrating mask is gorgeous. I love giving myself a little pamper :)

i had this problem while ago and no amount of cleansing/moisturising/exfoliating was helping, pretty much just had to wait for itself to go away, and avoided putting much makeup on it which makes it so muchhh worse!

I get the same problem on and off - looked awful when I put make up on. I found that exfoliating more regularly helped the problem. I also tried to wear make up only when necessary, which seemed to help, too.
