Just about to join a Club. So im wondering how it all works!

I wont know any1 at the club i join so how do i get out to play with fellow members? Ill need them to sign my score cards to get a handicap!

Is it possible to book tee times and leave them open for other 1, 2 or 3 balls to join you on the Tee?

just ring and ask to join a 2 ball or there might be somebody else down as a single. I play with m friend in my club but when he's not available thats all i do.

easiest way to meet new members is to put your name down on the time sheet for a few weeks. i am sure you will receive a warm welcome by the older members.

Agree with comments above, usually the club will get you out with a 2ball, or 3 ball depending on the competition

Sounds good! I figured it would be fairly straight forward! Thanks for feedback!

Might have a 'hackers' section.Usually the best place to
start and from experience can say it was the best craic.

When you join, just tell the secretary/manager/pro/monkey the situation you're in... they should be well able to fix you up with someone to mark your cards in the beginning.
Find out if there is online tee time booking because then you might be able to slot yourself in beside two others... online booking is great for this.
When you get paired up with someone, don't be shy about asking for their number so that you will quickly build up a golf group that you can text to arrange a game.

Sound licksy. It does have online booking! Didn't realise you could do that with it tho!

And zztop I'm not new to golf just had a few years away from it! But nice suggestion! Might look into that for a few friends!
