Have you looked on the floor in the passenger seat?

Report it straight away to your Insurance Company.

Also report it to the Gardai because your cars license plates could also be cloned to match the Insurance disc.

Report it as stolen, you may need to fill in a decleration of same for the insurers?

Can I ask how they stole it? Drop top or something much weirder?

Was it robbed from your car, when it was parked at home.

Similar thing happened to me a few years back.

One day the plates were robbed off the car, next day insurance disc!

I don't always lock my car in the driveway as I live out in the country, obviously I will from now on!!!
Was also at a friends house with a lot of teenagers present - I'm hoping it was just one of them to use as a decoy. I also had the car in a garage for a service recently, and that's where I'm worried, as someone mentioned, that it could be used with cloned plates. But surely it would have to be the same make and year of car as well. Is there any chance I could be held liable for someone else's accident?
Insurance company are sending out another.

Nothing to worry once you've told the proper authories.

With me a similar car matching mine was used in a robbery.

Got pulled a week later by the Gardai, they were nice about it

they knew about the "cloned" car on their system.
