High lift trolley jack

Anyone know where I could get a high lift trolley jack reasonably cheap. Have 2 small 2 ton trolley jacks but jacking up the MR2 to put it on axle stands is a pain – jack it up, put in stands, use blocks of timber to go up another bit etc. I saw jacks by the rally crews at the Killarney Historic rally which put the Escorts about 3ft in the air in a couple of seconds. There is a central jacking point front & back of the MR2 which would prove useful with a good jack. Any ideas or suggestions?. Have plenty of Axle stands.

    Thanks,

    T.

Halfords do one (3 ton) heard good reports, I think e120 ish,
Oddly enough Argos do an RAC approved 2.25 high reach quicklikft for about e90 or so.

    Thanks, IKB
Just looked at the Argos catalogue. RAC one looks interesting. Goes to 520mm which is a little over 20 inches. Will check out Halfords over the weekend.

    Thanks,

    T.

Find someone heading over the water to Machine Mart. Bucketloads of jacks with variety of load limits and heights.

Actually, wasn't there some fella, some time in the past mentioned on here, that resold stuff sourced from them? Or was I just dreaming?
