    Does anyone here do these?
I have a question over the reverse exacta.
Lets say you have a reverse exacta of numbers 8 and 2 and they come in 2 and 8 at 8 euro. Whats the difference in payouts or how does it work?

Payout will be bigger if the bigger priced one wins

    i.e 5/1 shot beats 11/8 shot

obviously would play more than other way round.

Ammmm i might be though, i've just descibed the reverse straight forecast bet. Maybe the exacta is just the totes version of this.

Thanks Jerry, but maybe I didn't explain my question right.
    Let's just say
    X 5/1
    Y 2/1.

So if the exacta on XY is 10 euro, and on YX it's 8 euro, how do they calculate the reverse, seen as it's one bet?

I'm 99% sure that The Tote Exacta operates in the same way as a normal bookmaker's straight forecast. So if you do a reverse exacta you are really having 2 bets.

so you do a €5 reverse exacta on x and y.

    bet costs € 10

    XY returns € 50

    YX returns € 40
