i have just booked flights to the States with American Holidays

    My 3 flights are
    United (operated by Aerlingus)
    then American Airlines
    then American Airlines

On the way home it is
    American Airlines
    American Airlines
    United (operated by Aerlingus)

My query is if my United/Aer Lingus flight is delayed, will American Airlines move me to the next available flight.

Presume these airlines are all in a network of some sort or have an agreement in place for these type of situations??????

If booked under the one ticket you will be moved to the next flight.

I missed a connecting Qatar airways flight in Gatwick after my aer lingus flight was delayed. Switched to Heathrow for their next flight.

Which in turned missed my connecting flight in Doha so arrived around 10 late to my final destination.

    Thanks for the response Trampas.

Anyone have any experience with any of these airlines in America?
