No laptop recharger; anywhere to recharge it?

Firstly, the laptop I have is an Acer Aspire 5535. The recharger won't work so I haven't been able to recharge it. I am hoping to sell this laptop but I need to muster up enough battery charge to wipe the hard-drive clean before I sell it on. Is there anywhere I can go and get it recharged, like a shop which would do it?…
