Noobie playin tag rugby

    Hi Guys,

    Looking for advice! off to play tag rugby this evening and have read through the rules but am still nervous enough goin, never played it nor rugby before only ever Gaa... Is it hard to get into it?!?

    I see a lot of posts from people who really take it seriously and am really not wanting to let anyone down if i am "Lumbered" on to their team...
    Any advice/help much appreicated!

    Just go out and enjoy yourself. You'll get into it after a while. Have ye had any team training sessions yet?

    You'll actually have a really good time, as baldie said, just go out and enjoy yourself.

    It's alot of fun, regardless of how serious you take it. Dont worry about the uber competitive people. It's even more fun when you beat them :)

    You'll be fine. Just keep in mind that you want to be behind the player when you receive the ball so you'd need to adjust the timing of your runs.
