Low-paid work experience & JA

I was recently lucky enough to be offered work experience in the area I qualified in.

The problem is my employer can only offer me E500 per month. I am currently receiving E600 on the JA.

I am aware you can still receive the JA if I am unemployed 3 out of 6 consecutive days. However, my boss has asked me how many hours a week I am happy to work for such low pay. I asked for time to think about it and so am unaware how the hours I suggest will be spread over the week and don't want to ask him to confine my hours to 3 days so I can still receive the JA.

Is there any way I can keep the JA payment and earn the money from my work experience?
