No i dont think there all shoe ins. I actually dont think that France will get out of there group. The rest i would agree with and probably throw brazil in there portugal have been brutal and ivory coast were awful in the ANC.

I'd agree with that. Difficult looking group and there is always one big team which bombs in the finals. Frenchies can be layed at 1.42 on Betfar to not get out of their group.

Uruguay have goal scorers and how mexico didnt convert all the possesion against the england. But the main reason for france failing is Domenech is an absolute tosser

How about Mexico/Uruguay forecast @ 16s and 18s, so you're getting at least 15/2 on them both going through...

Dont forget france have ribery and anelka, they also have a good goal keeper

    toulalan, evra, malouda

They will have greater physical strength than mexico

Malouda probably wont start, Ribery has a lot on his mind with allegations, the two center halfs can be very suspect, toulalan and anelka and maybe Gourcuff offer the best hope but the way they set there team out doesnt suit the individual players.

Also they are missing what many french pundits believe is there best player in Lassana Diarra, they have a squad thats injured or not playing for there clubs!

Is there any way to get Ray Domenech commited before the tournament starts? Maybe Russell Grant and Mystic Meg could see it in his cards.

The funny thing is if they picked fit players on form they could be contenders, i think i will take your bets and drop france and throw germany/brazil on it

Does nobody fancy the South Africans, yes a poor team but a home event and opening game against Mexico. I think they are great value at 7/4 on PP to qualify from the group....could spring a surprise with the whole country behind them

9/2 for South Africa and Usa to qualify for the second round, represents value in my eyes. (though the states were poor against the Czechs earlier this week)

England - Would be very confident of them topping the group. Solid

Italy - After seeing Paraguay the other night Slovakia are their main competition for the top spot

France - Their group doesn't have any world beaters but it's a very hard group to call. South Africa with home advantage, Mexico aren't bad and neither are Uruguay. I'd stay away from this one.

Holland - They should have too much the Danes with RVP, Robben, Van der Waart, Van Bommel, De Jong and Sneijder.

Spain - They should blow their group away. The Swiss, Honduras and Chile aren't the same class as Spain.

Would you not be tempted to throw in the Argies?? I know they have a madman in charge but they should have too much for their group of Greece, South Korea and Nigeria.

The Germans have a tough group with the Aussies, Ghana and Serbia and could struggle without Ballack.

from what i seen tonight they wont do much, they won the match but didnt produce a whole lot from open play and are very poor at the back
