Learner Renewal Q

Yo. I had to cancel my test at the end of the week because of a work thing I can't get out of. Problem is my licence is up in June and I'm sure I won't get a new date by then.

Question is, will they renew my provisional with either the letter saying my test is at the end of the week or the one acknowledging my application?

Go down to your Local Tax Office and pick up a License Renewal Form, fill it out and send it in.

I know but will bringing the acknowledment of my application be enough as well? I need to bring proof of having applied for the test.

    Thanks for the reply

Ah I take it it's your third Learner Permit, sorry about that I totally missed it in reading.

You need to have proof of taking a test, in which case you don't, so I'd go down to the guards and get a Lost/Stolen License form and fill that one out to receive a new one, although I'm nearly sure it'll have the same expiry date as your current one....so you may have a conundrum.

I'm sure the Tax Office will accept the Application for your Driving Test, although somebody else here can confirm that as I'm not sure.

Was thinking that alright. I might have the sheet from my old test that I can give them. Otherwise I suppose I'll just give them a buzz and see what the story is.

    Thanks a lot
