    Just wondered about Locke's fiance (or Peggy from Married with Children).....was she real? where was she in the end?? which life was she in?

    She was real in the real world. But they never really had the close relationship they had in the Limbo world.

    That's why she wasn't in the church. That's why John Lockes connection / glimpse came from him getting the feeling back in his legs.
    Johns love affair was with the actual island, not a person. And that relationship began with the amazing re-animation of his legs after a plane crash.
