New Hatchback/MiniMPV Buying Advice - Manual, 5 Door, 7 Seater...

Thinking of buying a New Hatchback/Mini MPV. Searched Carzone-New Cars Section, but some of the the models listed there seems obsolete and not updated.

Specs:
1. Manual
2. 5 Door
3. Hatchback
4. 7 Seater

Some of the cars listed in my search were:
Hyundai i10
KIA Picanto 1.0 LX
Opel Agila 1.0

Any suggestions? Knows about any offers from any dealers in Dublin at the moment?

Mazda are offering a version of their 2 for 11,600 or something like that at the moment with scrappage. You could try and bargain for a similar deal.
Also there's a thread on the Fiat Panda already, that's another good car.

OP, does it have to be brand new? There are some bargins out there in nearly new cars and they will still have the balance of their manufacturer's warranty, a few examples:

They're all awful cars.

Dishwashers on wheels, no a dishwasher might be more interesting.

As the others said, a 1-2 year old Fiesta/Clio etc is a much better option not least because those cars are so much better but because they are bigger they will have better safety features and will have more spec.

They won't be any dearer to run either, they're still small cars with not a whole lot that can go wrong.

Actually for 2 Adults and 2 Kids, But when some relatives and friends come things get difficult

I bought one myself a few months ago. I think it's the best looking of the smaller 7-seaters out there. The very back seats are for kids only, but when they're down you've a decent sized boot. I also like the extra height for the driving position, and makes it easy to buckle the 3-year-old into his car seat.

It is being replaced with a facelifted version either later on in the year or early next year, so there's some bargains to be had at the moment, or at least there was when I bought mine in March.

The thing is with most of the small 7 seaters is that you gain 2 extra seats over a 5 seater but loose the boot space that you need for the luggage that usually accompanies passengers especially young children.

15000 is the max I would go, for a second hand 7 seater. Otherwise i prefer to go for a new car similar to i10...

Thanks for the suggestions. Bought a 2007 Ford Fiesta Zetec - fully loaded with very low mileage for around 6800.

Now looking for a Estate / MPV / SUV (Auto), preferably 7 seater.

What about Hyundai Tuscon / Hyundai Santa Fe? My price range is around 10,000. I prefer something around the size of Toyota Corolla Verso and not bigger than that.
