Its only been a month. When I did mine I think it was the summer before I heard anything, around June/July.

CAO round A offers start early July but without doubt they have decided who has and has not got in by now considering the bulk of interviews took place over a month ago. Give the person whom interviewed you a call or email to enquire.

I was told that people would be contacted through CAO offers by the interviewers themselves, and to wait until the first week or two in July to find out if you got a place or not.

I'm as hopeful for you as I am for myself :)

They will not be allowed to tell you the outcome. Only CAO can. You can hassle DCU Registry to see if they have passed on the interview outcome to CAO.

They have already told some persons unofficially either at the interview or over the phone. I would say a call or email to the lecturer/professor would stand a better chance of getting an answer than calling the registry.

i was told unofficially at the interview that i had a place, but they also said that the college would contact me about a month afterwards. i might send an e-mail but now that i'm not the only in this situation it doesn't bother me that much.

If you have been told you got a place then nothing to worry about. I would be more concerned with hearing from the CAO rather than DCU as its the CAO who will send you the official offer.
