Science is very hard to predict as nearly every topic comes up in some form or another.

I'd agree with Damien though water hardness and magnetism experiments are tipped to come up. Otherwise, nearly everything comes up.

My science teacher did out a huge spreadsheet of her predictions for the 2010 science paper, If I get a chance later I'll scan it in and upload it ;)

It's possible but it's only a prediction so it's not certain they will come up! Go through your papers, do any question not already done (they are soo repetitive) and look over the key experiments :)

Well my teacher has all ours down the back of the classroom and says inspectors go to some schools to check if they are all there  idk :D

Yes, my teacher has them down the back of the classroom as well. The State Examinations Commission make an inspection in roughly 5% of all schools. In the school they do check, they check all lists, etc., and then take a random look at copies.

So yes, your chance of being caught out is quite slim, but if you are, you're down 25% — it's almost like lying/cheating if you ticked the boxes and you don't have it done.

My teacher has our exam copies too. If you have boxes ticked and they're not done, do you lose marks for the whole coursework B? Like the investigations? Seems wuite unfair to me but I'm sure I have my experiments right ;)

Just the 10% which is for the experiments :/

Still seems unfair :/ Should dock marks for the ones missing only in my honest opinion

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 333 ✭✭Vivara

Sorry, you would lose the full 10% for the Coursework B as far as I know. As far as I'm concerned, it's cheating given that you said you did something and you didn't.
