    Hi there,
Thinkin of taking our 2 year old son somewhere in August, and these two places are of top choices. But I'm looking for a bit of advice.
Which one would you recommend for his age(he loves both thomas and disney),?
Which one is better value for money?
And would you recommend driving or flying.Want to spend little money getting there so we have plenty of spending money!
    Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!:)

I think with the fact the Icelandic Volanco may be about to errupt again then driving to Drayton Manor might be best.

My friends took their child there and he loved it. Kids don't notice that they are in the UK or France and so long as they don't know there is a choice then they wont stand in the middle of Drayton and say "Why didn't we go to Disney?"

Also would you like to be trapped in Beauvais or CDG with a cloud of ash floating around.

The return ferry would be around €280 return for 2 adults and 1 child and Drayton is only around 2.5 hours drive and mostly motorways the whole way from Holyhead.

Birminghman and Liverpool are not too far away also and for the adults you can always pop into Cheshire Oaks Outlet centre on your way over/back.

I would personally prefer to go to Disney anytime but with the flight risk then......................
