Acoustic act

How's it goin, Thinking of setting up an acoustic act, Maybe 2 guitars, acoustic bass and small drum kit.

What I am thinking is taking really popular (not nessacerily pop music) songs and turning them into your own, not too far removed from the original, but make it sound good acoustically.

Covers first then progress to writing and recording.

Would be thinking of rehersing in Dublin City Centre,

I have never been in a band but have been playing years, I am 24 and from south Dublin.

My influences are completely varied, and im not too pushed on them as each member will bring their own influences to the table when songs are being arranged and writing is taking place.

Hopefully it might expand and more instruments etc, Looking to get lineup sorted and be rehersing middle of june.

Bass and some sort of percussionist required, doesn't have to nessacerily be an acoustic bass but would be best I suppose.

Any takers, lots of interest from Guitarists.
