Hey, heading to San Francisco on a J1 for the summer. Haven't got a job or accommodation sorted yet but looking at accommodation now. Anyone else in the same boat as myself? Or anyone have any advice in general. :)

Have a snoop around sfbay.craigslist.org for accommodation and jobs. I'm not sure about San Fran but I think a lot of people stay in frat houses up there, a little bit away from the city usually tends to be cheaper.

Hi! I went to SF on J1..went over with accomm organised and it ended up being a complete disaster!! I think your best option...and what most do..is to head to Berkeley and try all the frat houses!
Alot of us got jobs down on Fishermans Wharf in SF!
