That is a nice looking telly for that price!

If my €399 Tesco Bargain Alerts TV would just give up and die I'd seriously think about upgrading to 37" on the cheap...

Im strongly thinking of buying one of these Teles..Maybe some one can offer me abit of advice..Basically its for the bedroom..And tis just to play Games on and watch DVDS,through my playstation 3..At the moment ive the old tele's what ever they are called, so anything on that would be a improvement..

Would this be good enough for games???

yes, it would be fine as a second/bedroom set and good for games.
Not full HD but at that price it's a winner

AFAIK a PS3 only goes up to 720p anyway, so it'll be perfect, and for that price, a bit of a steal.

im concidering getting it as a pc monitor, or is that too big? :pac:

Don't let PS3 owners hear you say that!!! They'll kill you where you stand.

The PS3 is capable of full 1080P. But my TV is 1366x768 (Basically 720p) and games look pretty sweet.

Yes def too big I would say. youd want to be at least 5-6 foot away from it. You'd pick up a good full HD 24" monitor for around €200, would be a much better option for a PC

PS3 is on of the, if not THE, most powerful media devices out there at the moment - better than your blu-ray player and way better than your Sky box etc. A lot of people class PS3 as just a 'gaming thing' like Wii or DS and hook it up to crappy old TVs and continue watching rubbish resolution on their main telly..! :D

Cello are a really poor brand. Wouldn't advise it, even at such a good price. By far the worst return to purchase ratio I've ever seen.

    Anyone see any in Castlebar?

Did anyone buy yet? Wondering what its like? Would just have Sky hooked up to it anyway.

Anyone know what the quality is like based on what TerrorFirmer says?

My uncles in the market for a new TV and this would suit perfect but if it's a steaming pile, there's obviously no point.

That was the idea i had 4 years ago when i bought my 32". Took me about a day and a half to get another monitor again. Absolutely hated it.
As a tv it is still great though.
