Does anyone know the deal with parametric equations?
Do we only have to able to show that two give parametric equations represent a line or could we be asked something like this http://www.studentxpress.ie/papers/linesoln1996.pdf
Part B
Also could be asked to prove that a transformations maps a line segment to a line segment?

nothing like that has come up since 1996. Questions before 2000 are not really a reflection of the current standard, i wouldnt read too much into it.
