Tooth removal

I have a tooth which has grown inward into my mouth. By this I mean it's nearly in a row of it's own on the inside of my other teeth.

This causes irritation to my tongue, and with a sharp edge on the tooth developed over the last few months, it causes small cuts on the tongue.

Anyway it's being annoying me for years and I'd like to get it removed.

Would this be as standard as removing a tooth which is in the "correct" position, and how much might it cost?

Pop in to your dentist to at least get the sharp piece smoothed, this would only take 2minutes. Then ask re extraction/complexity/cost/pros cons, that way you'd get proper, personalised advice- &possibly xrays to check how close it is to nerves/roots of adjacent teeth. Kinda relevant.

Think about orthodontics also, the tooth can be moved possibly into the correct position and the rest of your teeth and bite straightened at the same time. Mean you dont need to loos any valuable teeth unless necessary. Talk to your dentist about it.
