Overnight parking

Just wondering if its ok to leave a car in the free car park (behind the Helix) overnight?

Have my last exam this week and needless to say will be going for a few drinks afterwards. I have to pay for parking outside my apartment so was hoping to use the DCU car park to keep my car for the night and I could get a bus out the next morning and collect it. Does anyone know if there is clamping or a fine in operation in that car park. Wouldn't exactly have the money to pay for a fine so would have to come to some other arrangements if I couldn't park there overnight.

Having said all this, I park there regularly, Ive seen plenty of cars which seem to be left there overnight/long-term.

You'll be grand leaving your car there, it's a free car park after all! I know people who leave their car there all week!

Just don't leave it there with anything expensive on show.
There's a wine-coloured old fiesta there (still - beside the creche) with one of the windows broken and it's empty. Someone told me there was a laptop on the passenger-seat.

Park under the camera and you'll be grand, I reckon!
