Hi just wondering if anyone doing the BMus music course can tell me how hard it is to get in? I'm in my mid 20's, self taught on guitar and mandolin. Never studied music for leaving cert simply because they didnt have it in our school :o Some of the college prospectuses seem to say 'Leaving cert music required but not essential' Have just a basic grasp on music notation simply because I rather try play it by ear! I think I know the answer to this question is 'go get proper music lessons first' but said i'd just ask if anyone had a similar background but managed to get through. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks a mil!
