Can anyone tell me what the letters after the Yamaha Pacifica 112's mean e.g. 'XJ' and 'V'. Can't find it anywhere...

    Thanks

XJ generally refers to the frets. I think XJ are between normal and Jumbo frets, I'm unsure. Or maybe they're "Xtra Jumbo" and even bigger, but I doubt it.

Not sure on the V. I'm sure it's something obvious to Yamaha. I think it could be the Alnico V pickup? Or maybe the 5 way switching? Most likely the pickup.

    Hope this helps.

Is the V not a description of the neck shape?
