    Hi

I have just applied for my superannuation to be refunded via the online system on the ATO website. Just wondering how much I should expect back. Will I get both my contributions and my employers contribution to the fund or just what I personally contributed?

    Thanks in advance

    Jimmy

    Yes everything that was contributed
    Your employer pays 9%

and the tax is I think 35% (possibly 40%)

Do you have to have left the country to claim back your super? Or can you do it when you leave the job?

Left the country only - you need to certify your immigration status too - (which if you have over 5K in super will cost you 50bucks from the dept in hobart)
