Half Price Suncream

    just about everywhere I've been the last week or so has all their suncream 1/2 price, just shows the rediculous mark-ups they have on these

    That's the way manufacturers work - the retailers aren't giving the discounts, the suppliers are and the retailers pass it on.

    Sun creams are ridiculously expensive and cost feck all to manufacture. Then you have development costs and the cost of the extremely pricey advertising. Part of the advertising is to offer the products at half price.

    Works the exact same way your see groceries at half price - all part of a marketing budget.

Every year suncream has been 'half price'. In UK shops, the same suncreams are priced at around £5.95 to £6.95 with no half price offers.

    We as consumers get sucked in though, so the marketing works!
