Where can I get a happybaby sling?

Hi there,

I'm looking for one of these as a gift for a friend. It has to be the kind with the adjustable ring/loop thing. The happybabysling.com website doesn't seem to have them. The one she has now has a happybabysling.ie website on the label but it seems to be defunct (the site). Any ideas if anywhere in Dublin sells them or a similar style?

scroll down to the very bottom, they seem to stock them.

ETA (again...), on second thoughts... maybe it's not the happy baby slings you're talking about but try it?

Those aren't the slings that were taken off the market decause of the risk of suffocation are they?

That might be why you're having trouble finding one

Crikey! No, I just had a Google and they seem to be the ones where the baby is carried low on his/her back, like a cradle. Hmmm. Will keep looking. Thanks.

If you look for "ring sling" on Ebay you'll find plenty. The type of sling withdrawn is called peanut shell I think - They're a padded, loose type of commercially made sling http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml10/10177a.jpg . I've PM'd you some links that may be useful.
