the jimmy kimmel show aired last night after the Lost finale, and was a special show dedicated to Lost.

This thread may contain spoilers for anyone who hasn't yet seen the finale so don't read any further.

just watching it now. some very funny bits - like the tender moments of Lost. very funny stuff.
3 alternative endings also on the show - not up to them yet.

    anyone else watch this?

It was ok. I enjoyed the interview with Fox and quite liked his theory on what the show is.

I also must say emilie de ravin was wearing a remarkably short dress, worth it for that alone.

Have to agree with this! His take on it was quite good!

IMO also I thought the show was otherwise pretty lame. I think Jimmy K is a pretty big douche. As for the alt endings, I loved the first one mainly cause I'm a huge fan of the show (wont say it in case you not there yet :) )

What was the Alt ending parodies that were set in a diner and Bob Newhart based on? Im guessing with the diner one it was Sopranos due to the quick cut to black? Ive never seen a single full episode of the Sopranos surprisingly :pac:

Thought the first 2 alt endings were very funny using Survivor and The Sopranos but can somebody explain the 3rd one, it went over my head although i know it was a piss take of the ending of some big american show.
What show was it and what was it about?
Did it actually end as a guy waking up from a dream??

JDee you should def watch The Sopranos! Is a really good show!

As for the third video, that's the impression I got from it also. Don't know what its from. I think the producers used those endings cause they said somewhere that they were unhappy with the way those seasons ended! As for ending anything with a 'waking up for a dream thingy', biggest, BIGGERS cop out ever!! I remember doing it in third year in Secondary school cause i couldnt think of a proper ending and got a big fat F for my efforts :) totally deserved it though :D

Don't post up links.. I've already locked a thread earlier today asking for links.

I thought it was goddamn awful to be perfectly honest!

I would have preferred this ending, it would have made more sense

    [-0-] and Mickalis,

I've added your links back in as they're both linking to videos on the Official Jimmy Kimmel channel on YouTube which isn't locked by geographical restrictions.

I just didn't want links to the full episode via a torrent / other file-sharing sites as it's still copyrighted content by ABC.

Werent Darlton supposed to be appearing on this? I think they mentioned it at Comic Con last year

That was really awful. The amount of advertising they cram into that show is a real turn off (it's like that in normal shows too) and tonight was exceptionally bad. The whole show was a platform for advertisers.

What happened to Michael Emerson? He seemed to disappear from the set half way through.

Also I found the sentiment to be a little too much, opening with people crying their eyes out and then the montage with sappy music to boot. Cringe worthy.

Alan Dale didn't seem happy about Widmore's ending at all :)
