Sky Real Lives have in recent times alternated between The Biggest Loser USA and The Biggest Loser Australia with one season beginning as the last one ended from each country as such.

The last Australian series shown was season 4 which was a strange move considering the previous Australian season shown was season 2. So season 4 Australia ended and instead of going for the next Biggest Loser USA they showed a stupid series based on weight loss around dancing. Then an advert comes on for the brand new series of the biggest loser Australia starting tonight at 9.00pm but it's series 3! WTF ? During season 4 which they showed first it referred to last years winners and highlights etc so even though this is the first run of season 3 any regular viewer knows exactly what happened and who won.

Why would you show season 4 before season 3 ?

    Totally agree!!

They brought back the final 3 of season 3 during season 4 so we kno the finalists already!!

I'll still end up watching it though for all my giving out!

THAT'S why they look familiar *sigh*

They also started advertising season 4 when they were showing the final week of it. Found that a bit strange.

We are now showing the third series of The Biggest Loser Australia. We have had some feedback from viewers asking why we showed the fourth series before the third.
The reason for this is that we had certain constraints in the third series that took a while to iron out before we could show it. We didn't want our viewers to miss out on the most recent series and as such took the decision to show the fourth series before the third.
We very much value our Biggest Loser fan base and hope that it hasn't disrupted the show for you.
If you have any feedback on this or any other matter, please let us know on Twitter, Facebook or our feedback page.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope that you enjoy the third series!

    Certain constraints ?????

You may not see the biggest loser aus season 5 shown here for a while, a contestant eliminated in week 2 was arrested for allegedly having child porn in the 3 months downtime from between when the second last episode is recorded and the finale (which is live) is aired. all the episodes are aired in this 3 month window and 5 days before episode one he was arrested, causing them to heavily edit about 10 episodes into 2 totally erasing this team (2 people) from the show.

i've watched the 2 episodes and if you're a fan of the show its terrible, all tight shots and whole chunks of development wiped out.
one guy wins immunity in a challenge then the next weigh in they announce there's no yellow line, hence no elimination!

hopefully the remaining episodes get it back on track, as it could be good.
