    I'm just wondering what magazines other developers like to read (if any). I tend to browse through the likes of Wired and .NET Magazine but I don't read them on a regular basis. Are there others that I am missing out on?

    Dr. Dobbs Journal used to be the magazine of choice, but it's a bit to specialised these days.

    PC Plus and PC Format, just for general PC related stuff, and only then if they had some eye catching free software on the magazine DVD.

    I read bits and pieces from the MDSN Magazine pretty regular, though in online form - gather it has a print version too;

    Other than that, not really aware of any worthwhile development/engineering magazines in print form, unlikely to be interested anyway.

    On general tech, always found PC Pro good for general PC industry stuff, and PC Gamer for games (consumer end, Game Developer/Gamastura would have the trade end).

    Good shout on Dr Dobbs. I had completely forgotten about it. I do recall it becoming very technical a few years ago. I found myself having to study the articles as opposed to read them.
