I had this delievered to my house today

    Beaumatic integrated tumble dryer.

It does a 6 kilo load and has 6 different clothes settings. It also has child safety lock, auto shut down if dryer door is opened, cool down settings and also anti crease settings too.

Its made as an integrated applience, just like a washing machine or a dish washer, pop on your kitchen door and then simply slot it into your fully integrated kitchen

A nice featrure of this vented dryer is that the vent itself is built into the back of the dryer, for even more space saving and can extend out by 2 meters. Its energy rating is C,as like most vented dryers.

It costs 300 euro new and comes with 2 years labour and 5 years parts warrenty.
Dimensions are 590mm wide,530mm deep amd 580mm in height, can be adjusted up or down by 20mm with adjustable feet.

Just thought I would share these pics and this info with you.:)

correct me if im wrong and bear in mind i work with these every day ,but for a machine to expel air out it has to be taken in somewhere in the first place -the vent for that is also on the back ,so if you build that unit in how are you going to ensure proper air flow to the back intake vent ?

that unit is just a freestanding model with hindges provided to hang a door ,it is not suitable to build in ,if you dont provide air flow the overheat stats will pop after a while

thats why most dryers are freestanding ,vented and condensed ,too provide proper airflow to ensure safe operation

Sorry, but the main vents are on the front and you cut a long but narrow rectangular piece out of your plinth so that the vent as a free supply or air flow to it.The vent is behind the protective packaging in the pics above, you just cant see it.

You whack a hole in your kitchen wall, feed the vent pipe through it and clip in toto the wall vent cover provided, then you screw up the wall vent cover to the wall with the 4 wral plugs and screws provided.

It is a fully integrated applience.

think you may have bought a lemon ,heres areview on amazon

This integrated tumble dryer is rubbish... Firstly it isnt fully integrated as in when its installed it cannot be hidden behind the plinth as there is no resess at the bottom. Secondly there is a temperature reset button on the rear??? how is this accessed to reset when its built in? And lastly it is so cheaply manufactured it really is rubbish. I had to set this appliance back, buy an extra deep worktop and fully fit into a cupboard with special hinges to avoid being able to see this appliance once fitted. Not exactly fully integrated....
Lastly I had an engineer out to adjust the badly fitting (wobbly) door, he told me this is how they are and he couldnt help? on top of that when I rang the manufacturers helpline I was told "THATS HOW IT IS", they really were unhelpfull............

best of luck with your "integrated " dryer

Well I have the luxury of having a brand new 7 kilo slim line condensor dryer here too for my kitchen build.Just incase its needed or wanted.

The reason why i posted my pics and info was to show others who were asking about an integrated dryer,in the past.

Theres also CDA,White Knight integrated dryers too,but both are the exact same as the Beaumatic.just different brand names.

    Did I say that????

Im merely saying what way it is,I mean,Im the 1 here actually looking at it in the flesh and reading the booklet on it.

If it turns out to be no good, then I fair enough,I dont really care,(brand new condensor sitting here too),at least I have tried it and thats the only way to find out if its good or bad.

When I first saw the pic, I knew I recognised the door and the style of it.

An Irish company, Domotec, used to have them with Domotec branding on them (also seen them with White Knight badge). IIRC, these are supposed to be an old Whirlpool design. Interesting that the red reset button at the back is still there!

From what I remember of these (and it's not to say some components have been changed for cheaper parts since the Domotec days some years ago), they used to be pretty reliable.

Also, yes, the door was flimsy even back then, though it didn't seem to be a problem.

still available as white knight -in the white knight brouchure it states the risk of fire if you stop mid cycle i will post a link

    http://www.crosslee.co.uk/downloads/IFU/831WV.pdf

    page 8 risk of fire

if power supply fails or overheat stat trips thru lack of air ,increases the risk of fire

didnt think any retailer in ireland would actually sell one of these

top end machines like the miele are condensed they dont offer a vented machine anymore

"Its energy rating is C,as like most vented dryers."....but not all. Some vented dryers are A energy rated.

This will cost about €107 per year to run, compared to the most efficient vented tumble dryers, which would cost just over half that to run per annum.

Have a look here for energy ratings of appliances:
