Sky+ failed record the final lost

    So i set my Sky hd box to record the final lost last night and the preview show half an hour before. Checked just now and its says failed/ power cut at 5am. Was this show locked from being recorded or something? This has never happened before when i recorded tv? Anyone else?

    At the start of the show there was a temporary failure to broadcast correctly. It lasted maybe a minute before it was working fine. Is that what you are experiencing?

    if you missed it, it's on tonight on RTE at 9pm (i think). check the sky listings

    I dont think so because the preview show that started at 4.30am failed too?

    The live Sky1 feed on Sky player cut out after an hour aswell so I read. Also they advertised it would be on Skyplayer to watch again from noon only to appear at 1.25 :mad: Plenty of pissed off people on the skyplayer message boards. Also any alternative method of watching it on the internet today is dieing a slow death!!!

    You probably found the episode, but as for the Sky box having a "power outage". I find that sometimes if I set to record at 4am (Cops - CBS Reality, beasty show :D), and the sky hasn't been touched since 11pm or so,that it goes into standby mode to save energy and doesn't record (well not for me anyways), so I usually just get up an hour or two for a minute, go to any channel say 501, and let it record then.
