So for those of us who didn't stay up for the simulcast. Should we watch it tonight at 9 on RTÉ 2?

I think a poll is required.

Was it worth it? 51 votes

yes, how can you even suggest that? :D
i wouldn't want to invest 6 years in a series and not see how it turns out.
look at the poll for The End. most people thought it was brilliant. people who expected too much voted 1/10.

just watch it and make your own opinions. everyone's different

Well I might just give up now. :) Also didn't want to read any spoilers.

I already watched it, and I'll watch it again tonight. Was all the best parts of Lost rolled into one, action, mystery, emotion, humour etc etc.

If you watched the show up to now, you may as well finish it off.

    If I'm honest..

If you have to ask, then no - don't bother!

I just thought it was a nice question to ask - basquille - didn't think I would be attacked about it.

And in fairness its not like the last 3 episodes have been the strongest episodes of the series.

I wasn't attacking you in the slightest..

I'm saying that you need to go into the finale wanting to see it, not questioning whether it should be watched.

I'd be the first in line to knock the final season but if you're not invested in the show and are looking forward to watching the finale, then you won't enjoy it!

i kinda fell out of the series after series 3 and came back for 5 and it was worth while to me so yeah check it out.

as an ending you really couldve missed quite alot and have STILL enjoyed it which is some acomplishment.

You don't watch somethign for six years and then NOT watch the final episode, no mwatter how bad it may be. And some of it was actually quiet good.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I stopped watching halfway through the 4th season, so now that it's finished I shall probably invest next weekend in watching the rest:)

I would have been better off looking at another series. Maybe I did expect too much, but is it too much to ask for a good ending, after 6 seasons. It wasn't worth it. Sorry. Big fat disappointment.

If you haven't seen it yet it starts out well be the ending just dissappoints don't bother. :(

Completely agree. Wish I had stopped watching it about 3/4 of the way in and left the rest up to my imagination.

It depends how many episodes you've seen. If you just saw a couple of episodes of the first series then I don't think there's any point in watching the very last episode. However if you've seen every other episode then you might as well watch it. I wouldn't follow a program for six years and then decide not to watch the very last episode. It would be like turning off a film two minutes before it ends.
It's kind of hard to give my thoughts on the The End without giving away spoilers.

Knock yourself out then. The wire is 'supposed' to be good.

cant believe the amount of naysayers for the ending

i went in expecting answers and exlpainations, but at he i couldnt care less about them, it was a brilliant way to finish imo, lots of emotion in it

i thought id be manly enough, but it was a better tear jerker than the end of Armageddon:(:pac:
