I feel like barfing just reading your post :D

My partying days are over, thanks you my one year old...I've tried to trip the light fantastic so many times since he arrived and it's just not worth it. So for me 'partying' = a few drinkies out with the girlies and home by 1am :o

    No.

I tend not to hog my friend's house so much.

They make you breakfast and then you spend all day just lying around their back garden listening to music!

    With friends like these, wha?

I like staying in drinking with friends but nothing beats getting dolled up and heading into town* for a bop :)

Unfortunately OP, I'm 'that guy' who's sitting there at the end of the night giving out to my mates for going to bed with a can in my hand. Usually end up making my way home to feel up the girlfriend or find/make another party.

Usually start off in town and end up in a party around 4ish.

Me and my mates can't drink for shìt anymore these days, gone are the 2-day benders powered on full-steam!

Since I moved to Galway last September I haven't been out fùck-all, just prefer having beer and having some craìc with the lads...............ordering a stripper and some coke is optional.

Ah, back in the day we used to hit the local pub on Fridays and Saturdays, get cans for after the pub and stay up chatting shìte until 11 the next morning :pac:

No wonder my liver is half-dust.

I live ages away from everyone, so if I'm going to a party I have to stay with mates who live nearer (if I'm not close mates with the person whose party it is) which means we have to leave by around 1am... too early :(

Haven't been out for a while though

    I love to party.

I often take out my assorted life-size mannequin collection, dress em up in their clothes & have a great old time.
I have some of them sitting down with beers wedged in their plastic hands & some standing as if dancing to music.
I'l set them up in my room in the morning & come back later that day & when i walk in its like a surprise party just for me.
Everybody laughs at my jokes & im generally always the life & soul of the party.
If i get enough drink in me i might even try out my best chat-up lines with the prettiest of the female mannequins. She's a tease that one!

Im sure you all do this sort of thing as well.

Fonecrusher1 - that sounds like my kind of party. I wish I had friends that wouldn't talk back or steal my smokes or drink.

I've dropped the partying to make time for more drugs and alcohol. If I don't invite people then I don't have to share. Party's are for losers locking yourself in the bathroom for 2 days with a bag of assorted proper illegal highs is where it's at.

Only thing is, once when i ordered a pizza for me & the mannequins the pizza delivery guy gave me a funny look as my door leaned open to reveal the busy party scene going on inside.

Don't know what his problem was? Weirdo.

Oh, i can't handle all night drinking sessions anymore. Thats what most of our house parties entailed.
I prefere to just go to the local for a couple, or sit in with a bottle.

I had quite a few drinks spread out over the weekend, now i remember why i don't do drinking 3 nights in a row anymore :(

I guess he was just jealousy Fonecrusher. I mean delivering pizzas is probably his only social interaction, he probably never gets to hang out with plastic figures that much.

10 years ago, parties for me consisted of getting totally wasted on any substance available, rampaging all over town clubbing and then finishing off at the beach, hallucinating. Nowadays, parties in my home town for me consist of a mates house, a few drinks and a chat, or down to the pub for a chat and home by 11pm. It's a different story when I am staying with friends in Sweden, Norway or Spain. Then parties consist of backcombed hair, 1980's clothes, 1980's music and much attempted pullage.

I know what your saying, don't we all like the odd chat now and again. ;);)

Partying for me is going to the pub and then the club/late bar. Probably go out twice a week on average. I don't really do the house party thing, maybe after the club a very odd time though I usually have far too much drank all evening so just want bed by the time 3 o'clock comes around

Thursday or Friday would be straight to the pub from work for a few and often stay out for the night. Saturday depends. Out to the pub at 2pm for a game and stay out for the night happens from time to time. Other times out to the pub around 8pm and pubs and clubs for the night.

On a rare occasion (less than once a month) a few cans back at the house before out. I sit at home every other day of the week, so spending nights out "in" does not appeal to me.

My party habits have dropped to zero in the last year. This whole recession nonsense has knocked me back into penny-pincher mode. If I spend $20 going to the movies or out for a drink, I've overdone it :o

Its very strange to think in Ireland I thought nothing of putting out €40 and getting 5-6 pints, and now I can't imagine paying $4 for a beer :p
