Yep - had two of those cheaper ones a few weeks ago (875 Euro) each. Ended up shipping them back. Anyway, price on this is non negotiable (unless something to trade with) - This is being sold for someone.

    same gun:

    but with two additional mags

Are you a dealer ? If so can you please Let me know how you are allowed to import and export restricted firearms when other dealers arent allowed to unless the firearm is licenced ?

So its an FN clone that you are selling built by Luxdef not an actual belgian Built FN ??

Sorry.... if thats the case for my own reasons Ive lost all interest. Good luck with the sale.

Restriction only applies to short firearms (Pistols and revolvers, that's as far as i am aware - but don't quote me), but I am not getting into that mess of a conversation.

LuxDef Tec use British army L1A1's and replace barrel and bolt / carrier. Never said it was a Belgian FN - said it was an L1A1. BA markings all over it. Serial number denotes BSA/ Fazakerly product.

Anyway - If you're looking for a Belgian FN, there are a 1000's of them for sale in most dealers in Brussels - going from 500 euro up. Was looking at one last week with original bayonette, Para forend (the one that turns into a bi-pod), Stock cheek piece and a few more bits for 890 Euro (that included 20% gst)

Irish Army had FN, Brits had L1A1 ;)

Irish Army had semi & full auto, Brits had semi auto ONLY, FN has Inerga grenade sight on gas plug, L1A1 doesn't, muzzle hider is different on both ;)

Bunny - spot on. As I said this is an L1A1 with new .308 barrel bolt and carrier. used them for shooting in Switzerland and Finland. Usually group about 1" at 100 from open sights.

Unlike the FN, the L1A1 is used in Europe as a target semi auto. I have shot boar and elk with these, but mainly target on open sights.

But this rifle is neither, its a clone.

Same with there luxdefence crossbreed between a H&K PSG-1 and MSG 90 they call HSG.

nope - not a clone. Only things changed from the original spec are the barrel (new ) and the bolt and carrier replaced with new one. You can buy these with original barrels, but they've nearly all been shot out.

All uppr and lwr remaining assembly is original L1A1, Serial number traced back to original manufacture in the UK by BSA under license.

    I don't doubt you, as I don't know.

I was providing general information about the two rifles, where did I say the one for sale here was or wasn't a clone ?
