Has anyone done this? Did you use a suction cup and where in Dublin can you get one?

I did this at the weekend and followed a video on youtube.
It was a bit scary, Apple don't want you going into an imac but its doable.

My model (white intel) didn't require the sucker method but if yours does use one on a sat nav holder.

Last time I did it for someone I needed the sucker (otherwise you'll scratch the glass and/or the aluminium on the screen surround, or remove some of the black coating off the back of the screen surround, or bend some of the thin plates attached to the pins that guide the screen back into the case). Don't seem to remember it being too bad beyond that, but it's not impossible that you'll need some torx bits or screwdrivers - T10, I think.

Have a look in your nearest two euro shop for something with a sucker on it - most windscreen-mounted gizmos (notepads, GPSs as mentioned) have them.
