What you guys make of this email -
We are pleased to inform you that you have chance to work at home by revising business texts.Work takes 1-2 hours per day or less.
Duty can be done at any time. There are more than two thousand employees in our company, and everyone must understand another in correspondence.

    Duty:
We are providing the texts which are to be edited (~ 4 - 5 KB a day). You revise and correct the texts for spelling and grammar mistakes as an English-speaking person, and send them back to us.

    Remuneration:
For each KB of corrected text you will be paid 2 gbp (GB currency).

Approximately you will receive 300 gbp (british pounds) per month if will edit about 5 kilobyte a day.

    Requirements:
    - You should live in UK
    Be adult (21 y.o.)
You must be able to work with computer and text programs

    ----
    Your full name
    Age:
    You address:
    Your ZIP:
    Phone number:
    Your e-mail:

Now usually I just delete these things but what struck me here is if they're telling the truth about how long it takes its only just slightly above minimum wage per hour for the UK.

Usually with scams you get the "work as much as you want and earn 5K a week" bull but here they're only offering £300 a month

Or could this just be the "unique selling point" of this scam?

    Cheers guys.

The Average text message is between 1-2 KB so only having up to 5KB to do per day is easy isn't it especially with Google Translator(if required).

I wonder if you do 20KB per day will you get 4 times the amount each month?

1KB is 1024 characters, or roughly one A4 page of cursive script.
