Just released this morning. Seems to be the most complete 2.1 ROM out there now. Overclockable, GPS working, Gallery working, Bluetooth file transfer, long SMS messages, network location working, camera fixed.....

What’s New?:
Uses Behnaam’s Ben22 kernel with overclock. Use Overclock Widget (free on market) to change this
Long SMS messages work fine
Voicemail notifications work fine
Much better performance
Bluetooth working for file transfers in both directions (use EStrongs File manager - free on market)
Green camera issue is fixed
Barcode scanner etc. are working, and autofocus works for macro

You gotta enable over clocking by downloading a widget from the market is it?

Using villain 5.5 for a while now. Want to see what battery life on 6 is before upgrading

Booted up 6.1 this evening straight over 6.0

Dont know so far, seems very jumpy. Sometimes quick, sometimes stalling. Tried SetCPU but it seemed to corrupt the phone. Installed Overclock Widget.

Trying this out because the camera is meant to be better, and it was annoying not having voicemail alerts on VR 5.5

I'll give it a few days see how it goes

I do miss the blue background from 5.5 tho, this stock rosie or whatever aint as pretty!

Man, just going around the menu's on this thing is slow. I've booted the phone for one reason or another about 5 times since rooting, dont see how this is thier fastest sense rom, aint going as good as 5.4 for me

Installed it and its fast/stable for me. First 2.1 rom I'm gonna stick with for more than a day

Woke up today, phone a lot more responsive! Had to take the battery out again last night but seems to have settled down now. Hopefully will continue in this vain!

What over clock app you running? I've got the overclock wigdet running at around 70 thousand


Dang. Was messing with the Overclock Widget, set it up to one more level, above 70 thousand or so, fudged up the phone on me. I had the "start up on boot" box ticked, so anytime i turned the phone back on it was just stuck. Annoyed now cause I had the phone running nicely, and didnt tho a backup, so back to 5.4 for now. I'll wait another week or so, see if 6.2 comes out or something.

I found 6.0.1 to be incredibly slow and buggy. Backed up to my last ROM. Going to wait until I hear from more people before I even think of trying out 6.2

I'm still on VillainRom3.3 Going to bite the bullet soon and update. I lost all my call logs the last time. I had them backed up but they didn't link back to my phone book.

Is it worth it?

6.2 is running like a dream for me, fast and stable, overclocked to 691. No overheating whatsoever and battery life far better than on 5.5.

What score you getting benchmark with linpack? I'm getting between 2.5 and 3 depending on how much stuff I've running. I installed 6.2 full and have it running nicely now. Is an improvement from 5.4
