I'm wondering what is the best / easiest way to move a savings lump sum out of the Irish banks so that, should the worst happen, it won't be affected by insolvency or any Euro-exit related currency devaluation? Thanks.

Open a Euro-denominated non-resident bank account abroad.

Transfer money to that account.

Or am I missing something?
