Supposedly talks between Wlad & Haye haven't gone too well, and it looks like the fight is off. Haye was talking about possibly fighting Vitali instead, but now it looks like Audley Harrison will be his next opponent! If this fight actually happens, I'll lose any respect I may have had for Haye - For two years he has been talking non stop about getting the Klitschko's, and now that he actually has a chance to get them, he decides to take on Audley A-Farce Harrison! Anyone smell a duck?

Seriously, even Sky Sports will have their work cut out for them promoting this fight, who the hell wants to see this crap? Audley's whole career has been a joke - From those late night Saturday night Bum Fights on BBC, to being beaten by Rogie, he has no credibility whatsoever. What is this fight going to achieve? Another KO on Haye's record and that's about it.
Obviously it's still only speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised to see this fight happen. The whole story reminds me of this, the fight would be just as competitive too

I have next to no respect for the man at the moment, but if it happens, he's a disgrace. At the very least he should take Chagaev, but even that is still opting out. I dont think he'll take it though, nbot even he can stoop that low!

I wouldn't pay much attention to it (the rumour), wherever it came from. Haye seems like a clever guy, he knows his credability would be shot to f*ck if he took that fight. I doubt it.

Id rather see him fight Audley than Chageav to be fair. If he is not going to do anything of interest at world level for whatever reason then he may as well do something at domestic level. Plus this is the only time a fight with harrisson will ever sell as he is ebu champ going in. Harrisson isnt going any further imo and Haye... well if its not one of the bro's he is fighting it better be entertaining, and i feel a harrisson fight would be.
Haye is ultra cocky, big puncher, questionable chin, sometimes sloppy. Harrisson has a MASSIVE punch but is very gun shy, however if he lands then its lights out. This has all the ingredients for a 4 round tear up. I'd be perfecetly happy if he took the fight in the summer as long as a klitschko was the next opponent.

You probably wouldn't take any notice of his ducking if it weren't for the fact he was so ****ing annoying in the way he garnered attention of the brothers' back... He was a nobody, made a big scene calling them out, now both want him and he's nowhere to be seen

    Jaysus,
Just when the heavyweight division was getting interesting again...
If he goes ahead and fights audley, he'll be a laughing stock. There is absolutely zero to be gained by fighting a washed up mediocre muppet.
Even mrs gardener could outpoint harrison.:P

This is fcuking ridiculous. Can't say I am surprised. How people tolerate his shit is beyond me. Sky Sports will hype this to the balls and you know casual fans will think Haye is the dogs bollocks when he ploughs through A-force in less than 3 rounds.

Haye was too tired for another fight a few days ago, so if this is actually true the little respect reasonable people had for him will go. Since moving up to heavyweight, David Haye has been nothing short of an absolute cunt that epitomises all that is wrong with the boxing business.:mad::mad:

I just can't see this happening, it would be a total joke. That being said i'd probably watch it for pure comedy value, i'd loose any respect I had for Haye if he takes this fight though

I must be the only person who likes Haye and Harrison. :pac:

Would hate to see them fight, Wouldn't know who to support!

I'd love to see Harrison just throw constant bombs in his next fight, If he let loose he could prove how good he could of been, IMO of course.

I'd like to see it as well if its a stay busy fight for Haye. He could do an absolute job on harrison in a round or two, and in fairness he should, i reckon he'd intimidate him from the first bell. Having said that Harrison has argueably the heaviest hands in boxing and as an olympic gold medallist and european champ he does deserve one crack at the title. He should hold out for a big fight because this may be his only chance to get it.

Of course the only heavyweight fights of relevance involve haye and either klitschko but if they cant be made then at least a domestic fight has some releavnce / interest instead of a hand picked voluntary.

it would be gas after years of proclaiming he'd be heavyweight champion one day if Harrison managed to beat Haye. We'd never hear the end of it from mr humble. Anyway i reckon Haye is just putting Harrison's name out there to try to convince the Klitschkos he has other options since negotiations have faltered slightly.
