Some problems with the Sky hd box

I recently got a sky + hd box installed.
I have a couple of minor problems I'd like to sort out.

Is there anyway of getting teletext on the channels that have it such as rte1 and rte2? I have the box connected via hdmi.
If I connect it via scart or if I connect it to a video recorder via scart will I be able to get teletext?

Also if I have the box connected to my video recorder how do I get to my video recorder channel?
I remember chorus had a button on the chorus remote that changed the source to the video recorder so how do you do this with the sky hd remote?

The other problem I'm having is when accessing BBC3 and BBC4 in other channels the program description keeps popping up and I can't get rid of it. I press backup and it dissappears for a few seconds and then pops up again. How do I get rid of the program schedule description on these channels? it's really annoying.

Is there anyway to add the other channels to favourites? because having to go into other channels to access UTV everytime is a bit awkward.

    Thanks.

you need to connect via scart fot teletext.

you need to connect the video to the tv seperatly.

tune in bbc3 and 4 after 19:00 (delete them first)

    no. (services,9,5,select)

This is what I have now.
I have the hdmi connected from the tv to the sky hd box and that's fine.
The tv is connected to the video recorder via scart on av2 on the tv and av1 on the video recorder.
The sky hd box is connected to the av2 on the video recorder via scart lead.

When I go to av2 channel on the video recorder I get no picture.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

There is only one scart socket on the sky hd box by the way.

I will bump this thread with my own problem with Sky :)

I stopped receiving any signal this morning. Message simply says 'no signal received' and it also displays code 28. Support told me that it's due to the weather (code 28 apparently points to this cause) and that it will come back when it clears up. Well... the whole day passed and it's still the same so I don't think weather is an issue. I tried to call them later today but couldn't reach anyone (average waiting time was 15-20 minutes).

Have anyone of you guys had similar problems during today? Is there any simple way of fixing this on my own?

    .

you need to change the settings on the sky box. To output on scart.
