So over at Fingal a few weeks back a player had a silencer on his P90 that actually silenced it effectively.

I have a VFC AK74 and I want to put a silencer on it that will have the same effect but IM not sure what silencer Im looking for? All help appreciated.

Had an AGM p90 myself and this was a very noticeable difference when silenced, it does however have a varying effect from gun to gun , I used the same silencer on my old dboys m4 and made nearly no difference. In my own experience the only way to know how well a silencer will work is to just stick it on a try it out.well L96 and agm p90's work well though.

    Thanks for that man!

Anyone used a silencer on a VFC Ak then?

I heard the PBS-1 (i think thats the one :o) actually does help dampen the sound out of the ak, but im sure more of the ak heads would be able to help you out more :)

in the world of airsoft sniping its not just the silencer that dampens the sound..maybe look at some way of reducing the noise the piston makes when it slams into the nozzle??

once again in snipers filling the "hollows" of the aeg/sniper with material or some sort of sound proofing could help?

all else fails just throw BB's , that real quiet....

They're ****e, I find they really don't do anything in terms of making your gun quieter.
