    hello,
just wondering if anyone on here has used the silage pit covers as opposed to plastic sheeting and tyres?
    thanks for any input.

Never seen these in action they do look handy seen them advertised but never actually rang up for a price , seen something in the journal a few weeks ago about recycling tyres etc to make a mat for the top of the pit, wonder would they do some deal to take all the tyres we have in exchange for these mats

considering you have to pay them to take used tyres and pay them for the silage pit mats its unlikely that an exchange is going to be on the cards....

    Hello,
I am a farmer in Laois and I use the silostop system.
There is practically no waste with the oxygen barrier film which is very like cling film and lasts 2 year and is proven to be 100x and the open net cover stops the birds from breaking the film as well as the gravel bags which get rid of tyres. I was so impressed With it and now I sell it. If you would like to know more phone me on 087 7505277 or visit www.silostop.com.
    Regards,
    Noel Walsh.

Are the silo stop covers much more expensive than regular polythene covers, can they be reused.
