If it looks too good to be true, then 99% of the time, it IS too good to be true.

    A definite scam there.

When they announce they need a small processing fee to make the payment to you since you where one of the lucky winners and/or ask for your bank account inc. all details to make the payment to you.

+ even if you just play them along your email address will be added to a spam email list reserved for suckers that have valid email address and bother to reply, so replying means a massive increase in the amount of spam you get.

where did i say i thought it was real?

Cos you asked if it was a scam meaning you thought there was a chance it was not a scam (i.e. that it was real).

True, in fairness I got chatting to this girl in a chat site and swapped email addy's, next thing she need 300 euro to get documents so she can claim her parents farm in Nigeria, yeah you can guess the rest. Hadn't suspected anything at the start.

I've told her that my friend runs a modeling agency and could sign her up with a nice big advance but she'd need to send me some pics to show my friend, trying to see how far I can string it out but at this stage getting a steady supply of softcore porn from her!!!!

Hmm interesting how impatient they get so quickly. If you want to see real anti-scammers at work, check out 419eater.com. One could argue spending so much time on scamming the scammers is foolhardy, but to that person I say check out the hall of shame!

It's like the people who ring up Joe Duffy saying they sent €10,000 to Nigeria and are now wailing because they never received the car that was apparently for sale.
I mean in this day and age people still fall for this stuff?
