    Hey

Got upgraded to Sky HD and Multiroom there 2 weeks ago. Now i have the oddest Problem

In the kitchen, we cant get 101,102,10,3,104 (Rte1,2,Tv3 Tg4)

I've swapped the Sky box with the one upstairs, and Same Issue

Seemingly my Kitchen Doesnt want to show irish Stations.

Now, i dont really miss them, i just miss watching the first minute of BBC news, then catching 6:01

    Any ideas?

Ring sky and tell them you are missing the irish terrestrial channels but have everything else and they will send a signal to your card...have come across this a few times very annoying.

Strange one, I've read in other post here that cordless phones can cause problems but can't recall if it's affects those channels (I'm too lazy to search). If you've got a dect/cordless phone maybe try unplug them remove from the room and see if that solves it.

If you are experiencing blocky breakup on the picture and sound in the kitchen but by moving the same box upstairs resolves the problem then there is a device or devices close to the kitchen transmitting on the same frequency as these channels. The Dect phones is a common one but I have never seen them interfer with the Irish channels. What other equipment have you got in or around the house? Try turning off everything you can think of to test, cooker, radio's, PCs, alarm systems etc. I can't imagine what would be interferring but there is something.

Guy called out. Turns out it was the cable!

Replaced cables and all is well with the world!
